Alexandria University Faculty of Pharmacy Wins Award for Best Research Paper by Female Researchers in Recognition of Women's Scientific Excellence

The Faculty of Pharmacy, Alexandria University, proudly celebrates the achievement of Prof. Dr. Rasha Mostafa Youssef, Professor of Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry and Executive Director of the Scientific Complex for Pharmaceutical Research at the Faculty, who won Second Place in the category of Best Research Paper by Female Researchers, in honor of women’s scientific excellence.

This recognition was awarded at the 2nd IEEE International Conference on Automated Intelligence and Smart Innovations (ICOMIS 2025), held from May 10 to 12, 2025, at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport in Abu Qir, Alexandria, under the patronage of H.E. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the Arab League.

Prof. Dr. Rasha received the award for her collaborative research with a fellow researcher from Damanhour University, titled:
"Development of Tri-Hued Sustainable Methods for Assay of Antidepressant Supporting Treatment of Women Mental Disorder: A Comparative Study with an Official Method"

The paper contributes significantly to the fields of sustainability and green technology in support of women's health.
