The Information Technology Unit was established at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Alexandria University in the early 1990s. The unit is concerned with providing technological information to students, faculty members, and college staff. It is also interested in providing the Internet for all buildings and offices in the college, as well as creating university e-mails for students and faculty members so that they can access the official platform of Alexandria University (Microsoft) to follow theoretical lectures and practical classes
The unit is also responsible for conducting training courses and preparing introductory materials for faculty members, the assisting staff and students to be able to use information technology and various educational platforms as needed.
