Bachelor of Pharmacy – PharmD (Clinical Pharmacy)
PharmD clinical pharmacy is a comprehensive 169-credit hour curriculum designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills essential for a successful career in pharmacy.
The study language of the program is English. The duration of the study is five academic years and a mandatory advanced training year. Practical training is a core component of the program, divided into two phases: the Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience (IPPE), which involves 100 hours of training after level 3 or 4, and the Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE), comprising 36 weeks of training after level 5. The APPE includes five 6-week rotations and a graduation project, ensuring students gain hands-on experience in diverse pharmacy settings. By blending a robust academic curriculum with extensive practical training, the PharmD clinical Program ensures that students are equipped to meet the evolving demands of the healthcare sector and make meaningful contributions to patient care and public health. Graduates of the program are well-prepared to pursue careers as clinical pharmacists as well as community pharmacists in addition to working in the field of drug information and marketing, and actively participating in scientific research, or further postgraduate studies.
