Activation of Student Exchange Between the Faculty of Pharmacy, Alexandria University, and University of Caen Normandy
As part of strengthening international academic cooperation, the Center for Research in Medicinal Chemistry of Normandy (CERMN) at the University of Caen Normandy, France, announced the reception of two fifth-year PharmD students from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Alexandria University — Marina Kamel and Marina Ashraf — to participate in an advanced research training program that took place over two weeks (2–13 February 2026).
This training marks the beginning of the implementation of the upcoming Dual Master’s Program (Drug Design) between the Faculty of Pharmacy, Alexandria University, and the University of Normandy next year, reflecting the depth of the academic partnership between both institutions and their commitment to supporting scientific exchange and advancing research in pharmaceutical sciences.
The student exchange program aims to provide distinguished educational and research opportunities, enhance students’ practical experience within an international academic environment, and contribute to preparing highly qualified pharmacists capable of competing according to global standards.
This step further confirms the Faculty of Pharmacy at Alexandria University’s commitment to expanding international collaboration, supporting its students through joint academic programs, advancing the educational and research process, and strengthening its position at both regional and international levels.
