As part of the celebration of World Pharmacist Day on September 25 of each year, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the Faculty of Pharmacy organized a celebration on Wednesday 2/10/2024 under the slogan:

"World Pharmacists' Day 2024: Success Stories"

The celebration aimed to honor pharmacists and appreciate their efforts in serving the community, enhancing their professional status, and emphasizing that the pharmacist is an essential partner in the health team, and has a pivotal role in improving the health of society and urging the need to raise the level of community awareness of the importance of the pharmacist's role in health care, and his role in providing pharmaceutical consultations and providing integrated pharmaceutical care to patients.

The celebration was held under the patronage and attendance of Prof. Dr. Hanan Al-Jawili, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Sherif Rostom, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Hala Hamouda, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Ansi El Shafei, the head of the Alexandria Pharmacists Syndicate, and more than 150 faculty members, assistants, students, and graduate pharmacists.

The day included a series of meetings that discussed the success stories of a group of distinguished pharmacists in all different fields of pharmaceutical work.

Thanks and appreciation were extended to the organizing committee of the event, namely Prof. Dr. Hamida Abu Shaleeb, Prof. Dr. Rasha Youssef, and Dr. Reem El Hamamy, as well as the students of the Scientific Association of Pharmacy Students (ASPSA) for their constructive efforts in organizing and producing the event in the best possible way.
