Under the patronage of Prof. Mervat Kassem , Dean of the faculty of pharmacy , the faculty organized a cermony on the 1st of January 2022, to celebrate the renewal of the faculty’s accreditation by the “National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education” for a period of 5 years, starting from 24/11/2021.
The ceremony was attended by members of the faculty administration and its affiliates, including faculty members, staff, students, technicians, and workers. The ceremony was attended as well by a group of guests, including Prof. Kamal Metwally, Director of the Quality Assurance Unit at Alexandria University; the deans of the faculties of pharmacy at Pharos, El Alamein International Universities, and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport. Representatives from the Alexandria Pharmacists Syndicate and from different pharmaceutical companies and businesses were also present at the ceremony.
In her speech, the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Mervat Kassem indicated that at the end of the visit, the National Authority confirmed that the Faculty's entitlement to renew the accreditation is well-deserved, praising the distinguished performance and the volume of achievement implemented at various departments, and programs at the Faculty, as well as the satisfaction rates of the beneficiaries of the various services provided by the institution.
At the end of the ceremony, certificates of appreciation were awarded to everyone who contributed to fulfilling all the national criteria eligible for obtaining accreditation renewal from various sectors.
